String of Pearls, also known as “curio plant” or “pearl plant,” is a popular succulent plant that is sought after for its long, trailing stems and small, round leaves. It is to Africa and the Middle East, and features flat, tiny leaves that look like beads, giving the plant its name. The leaves are arranged in a spiral pattern, from which long, thin stems grow. The stems can trail up to two or three feet, making it a great trailing plant for hanging baskets or window boxes.
